redshoreaRed ShoreaRED SHOREA is a tropical hardwood native to Southeast Asia that has much of the same characteristics as Teak. It is denser than Teak and therefore heavier. The color of the wood is also very much like Teak, and Red Shorea turns the same soft grey over time.
All of our Red Shorea is kiln dried, which means there is little expansion or shrinkage of the wood. This ensures that the joints fit flush and that the wood doesn't split or warp.
All of our products are made from quality timber certified by the government to be from responsible sources which do not cut down trees from rainforests.
